Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
½ shallot, finely diced
1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 ½ cups whipping cream
1 Tbsp. Sunset Seasoned Pepper (Retired)
2 oz. brandy (optional)
½ cup beef stock
Steak of your choosing

Instructions

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté shallots until soft. Add mushrooms and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add cream, brandy, Sunset Seasoned Pepper (Retired) and beef stock. Simmer gently on low until sauce slightly thickens. BBQ, broil or pan-fry steak to desired doneness. Top steak with sauce just prior to serving.
